De Laurentiis Pizza Panini Everything good about pizza “in a crunchy panini”
Pizza with everything shaped like a sandwich, and Italian everyday Panini Stars Pizza tops off with cheese, sauce, and any toppings you like best.
De Laurentiis’ recipe is a “grilled sandwich” with “all the flavors of pizza, but in a crunchy panini sandwich! I love this recipe for game days and parties, because you can cut it into triangles like mini pizza wedges — perfect for a crowd,” the Food Network host wrote on the food blog Own Giadzy.
Reviewers on the Food Network loved how easy the recipe was, saying “the recipe is easy to understand and follow, and not too complicated for any level of cooking,” and “easy to prepare and satisfying. What more can I say?”

De Laurentiis comfort and home Roasted squash and gorgonzola pizza
While this pizza does require a little more time to prepare and get out of the comfort zone of the pizza, it is well worth it. Warm, thick Gorgonzola cheese and sweet pumpkin create a delicious pizza experience that may surprise you.
De Laurentiis’ recipe also calls for leeks, red pepper flakes, fresh mozzarella, and raw walnuts. While homemade pizza dough is perfect, the chef recommends, if you prefer, using store-bought pizza dough to cut back on time.
It’s a comfort food pizza like eat better, feel better, the author notes about Giadzy: “When fall comes, I always end up making this roasted squash and gorgonzola pizza! I love the combination of sweet pumpkin and tangy gorgonzola. And to really spice up the flavor, I added some Red pepper flakes, honey—and walnuts for crunch.”

De Laurentiis deep dish pizza Cheese stars in a big way
Featuring provolone and parmesan cheese, De Laurentiis’ pizza is as tender and cheesy as you wish. Jared marinara sauce and store-bought dough can shorten the preparation time.
“This is a fun alternative to Neapolitan and Roman pizza,” says the Chef in Giadze, and Jade really liked these cheese spinners. Provolone has a more cheesy flavor than mozzarella, which is why I chose it for this—the cheese is the star, after all! My recipe, but you can absolutely use any pizza dough you bought in the store to make.”
The home cooks on the Food Network have taken up De Laurentiis’ recipe that says, “It’s frankly amazing and so easy to make!” and “I’m originally from Chicago but haven’t lived there in many years. This is the closest I’ve ever gotten to a real deal!”
