The University of Oulu International Scholarship Scheme awards scholarships to academically talented international students studying at the University of Oulu for a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.

Scholarship worth and benefits:

After the first year of study, the scholarships will be in the form of a tuition fee waiver covering 50 percent, 75 percent, or 100 percent of the tuition fee.

A student must have completed at least 60 credits by the end of the preceding academic year in order to keep the scholarship in the next year of study.

Eligibility:

Applicants who meet the admissions criteria and are responsible for paying the tuition cost are eligible to apply for a University of Oulu Scholarship. Scholarships from the University of Oulu are only available once. Only if the applicant meets the admissions criteria will the scholarship application be processed in the selection process. The University of Oulu Scholarship selection criteria are based on previous academic performance and academic promise.

The International Scholarship does not have its own application process. The International Scholarship application is submitted along with the application for the desired study option. The University of Oulu International Master’s Scholarships application period is 5 January – 19 January 2022 (15.00 GMT +2).
