tofu scramble

This recipe makes the perfect breakfast. Start by mixing spices such as cumin, thyme, paprika, and turmeric in a bowl containing three tablespoons of water. Heat some oil and add the broken tofu and sprinkle some salt and pepper. Let the mixture cook for seven to eight minutes.

Once the undersides of the tofu are golden, add the seasoning mixture and cook for another two or three minutes—until the water has evaporated.

Adjust salt and pepper to taste and serve with coriander for garnish. You can also add stir-fried vegetables to the tofu paste.

Pan Teriyaki Tofu And Broccoli Leaves

Cut the tofu into cubes. Mix tofu cubes in olive oil, tamari sauce, and arrowroot starch. Once you’re done, add a few broccoli florets along with some kosher salt, some olive oil, and black pepper.

Bake for 24 minutes and serve with teriyaki sauce – a mixture of soy sauce, water, maple syrup, rice vinegar, grated garlic, sriracha, ground ginger and arrowroot starch.

This simple tofu recipe requires hardly any time. However, be sure to drain the water from the block of tofu completely before soaking it. To make the marinade, opt for a blend of soy, citrus, or vinegar instead of oil for a healthier version of this dish.

Once done, dip the seasoned tofu pieces in the cornstarch to make them extra crunchy. Fry the tofu in sesame oil or coconut oil and sprinkle some salt before serving.

This dish tastes as good as it looks. For this recipe, add the tofu to the boiling salted water and let it simmer for about 2 minutes. Take it out and cut the tofu into pieces. While still warm, marinate the tofu pieces in a mixture of soy sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper.

Once done, toss the pieces in the cornstarch, then fry the tofu pieces in very hot oil. Let it cook until the edges of the tofu turn golden. Set aside and reduce the oil in the skillet to a teaspoon. Add the soy sauce, sesame oil, water, brown sugar, and cornstarch to the pan and continue to stir until the mixture thickens. Now all you have to do is add the fried tofu to the sauce. Garnish with green onions and serve hot.

If you want to add some vegetables to your dish, you can prepare them separately. Saute a little garlic and ginger in the oil to remove the raw smell before adding vegetables such as carrots and broccoli. Stir the mixture for 10 minutes.

Tofu Soba Noodles

To prepare hot steamed dumplings, fry chopped ginger, onions, cabbage, carrots, and tofu. Once cooked, add black pepper, sesame oil and soy sauce followed by salt, and your stuffing is ready.

You can either make wonton wrappers or buy them at the market. If you have purchased the wrappers, gently moisten their edges and fill each with 2 teaspoons of the prepared mixture. Close the covers by locking them with five to six folds.

Fry the dumplings for two minutes. Reduce the heat and add some water to the side of the pot and cover it. Let the dumplings steam until all the water has evaporated. Remove the lid and let it fry for another 2 minutes before serving.
